IBC Awarded MATOC with Corps of Engineers

The United States Army Corps of Engineers has notified IronBridge Construction, Inc of Chesterfield, Virginia that they have been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) in Support of the Center of Standardization for General Instruction Buildings within the jurisdiction of the Norfolk District and the North Atlantic Division, Corps of Engineers for the South East Region (Southeast Region includes Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi). The primary focus will be work at Ft. Benning, GA and Ft Gordon, GA. The work will include design/build General Instruction Buildings (GIB) and all supporting elements. The contract is for one year with four one-year renewals in an amount not to exceed $72,000,000.00.

As a component of this solicitation and contract award, IronBridge was also awarded the first seed project under the contract. The scope of the project includes all work to design and construct an Armor Officer Basic Course HQ General Instructional Building located on Ft. Benning, Georgia. The GIB will be a two story 14,000 square foot building similar to a civilian higher education (college or university) facility, used for classroom training of Army requirements.
